Master your aim for consistent hits
Your first priority is learning to aim without wasting shots. When you drag your mouse, you're setting the angle and power of your ball stream. Hold your drag steady and watch the trajectory line. Most new players jerk their mouse around; instead, make one smooth motion to your target block, then release. The balls will bounce off walls naturally, so a shot aimed directly at a block isn't always optimal. Sometimes bouncing off the left or right wall lets you hit multiple blocks in succession. After a few rounds, you'll start to see which angles catch groups of blocks on the rebound.
The numbered blocks require that many impacts to break. A block with a 3 on it needs three separate hits. This means your early shots should spread across the board rather than concentrating fire on a single block. As you gather more balls and your stream grows, the spread becomes your advantage. Aim at angles that let your bouncing balls clip as many blocks as possible in one shot cycle.
Grab ball pickups before they fall
The circles scattered across the board are ball pickups. Each one you collect adds more balls to your stream. Early in a round, these are worth more than clearing a single block. Prioritize them. If you see a pickup directly in the path of falling blocks, shoot it first. A bigger arsenal means faster clears later, which is what keeps blocks from reaching the ground.
Pickups don't respawn, and the board layout is fixed each round, so you know where they'll appear. Some rounds place them in dangerous positions near the bottom. Grab those pickups on your first or second turn, before blocks start piling up. The tempo of drink mode is faster than standard play, so pickup timing becomes critical.
Clear rows strategically
Blocks fall steadily. As you clear some, blocks above them shift down to fill the space. This means the board changes after every shot. Watch the falling blocks and anticipate where they'll land. If you see a column filling up faster than others, focus fire there to keep it from reaching the bottom.
Clearing a full row at once is ideal but rare. More often, you're chipping away at several blocks across the board. Aim for blocks in the middle columns first. They block more board real estate, and shots that hit the center tend to bounce to both left and right walls, creating secondary hits on surrounding blocks.
Use Enter to skip animations
Press Enter after each shot to skip the ball animation and jump straight to the next round. This speed-up is essential in drink mode, where the clock is tighter. You'll make faster decisions and clear blocks sooner if you're not watching balls bounce for the full animation cycle.
Build your high score
Once you get comfortable with aiming and pickup collection, the game becomes a test of endurance and pattern recognition. Every round you survive raises the difficulty slightly.
